Who We Are

River Valley Waldorf School is a proven learning environment where children are nurtured and inspired through creativity to achieve their potential, supported by a vibrant community of parents, faculty, and staff.

Founded in 1994, River Valley serves students from pre-school through 8th grade and offers a weekly class for infants and toddlers together with a parent or other caregiver. RVWS is a candidate member of the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America and is accredited by the Pennsylvania Association of Independent Schools.

The beautiful River Valley campus encompasses more than seven grassy and forested acres for our students to explore. Situated a half-mile from the Delaware River in Upper Black Eddy, Pennsylvania, we are minutes away from the quaint river towns of Milford and Frenchtown, in New Jersey, and Riegelsville, Erwinna and Point Pleasant, in Pennsylvania.  Many families attending our school live in the nearby smaller Bucks County communities of Plumstead, Bedminster, Durham, Kintnersville, Ottsville, and Pipersville. Centrally located a half-hour from larger communities, RVWS also serves families living in Doylestown, Easton, Bethlehem and Quakertown, in Pennsylvania, as well as Clinton, Flemington, and Lambertville in New Jersey.
