Garden Gate This is a parent/child program offered twice each school year for parents or caregivers, together with their children from birth through 3 ½ years of age. The class meets once each week, for approximately 16 weeks. It is a lovely introduction to Waldorf education, Waldorf parenting principles and an opportunity to spend time with other parents & caregivers. The parents engage in a craft activity and have discussion during free-play time, parents & children together participate in circle time, prepare & share a wholesome snack, play outside, and enjoy a short story time, or puppet play. Circle and story time reflect the world of nature and seasonal festivals. Parents have the opportunity to share parenting skills and concerns in discussion with experienced early childhood teachers. Classes meet Monday through Friday mornings.
