Job Postings River Valley Waldorf School is Seeking: Enrollment Outreach Coordinator – Immediate Opening! The River Valley Waldorf School is accepting applications to fill a part-time Enrollment Outreach Coordinator position to start immediately. This position is responsible for the development and implementation of the school’s marketing and outreach plan to achieve targeted enrollment goals. This person’s primary activity will be out in the community to generate enthusiasm for the school and potential enrollment leads. This person will work closely with the Administrator, Board and Faculty to develop and implement outreach events and activities to foster the growth of the school. The person is responsible to develop, maintain and quantify reporting statistics on the results of enrollment and outreach activities. Compensation is commensurate with work background and experience. Qualifications: • Background in private school marketing, outreach and enrollment development • Experience in public speaking and, in general, working with the public • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; works closely with administrative staff, board, faculty, parents and volunteers to meet or exceed benchmarks for publicity and enrollment • BA/BS – Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, English or related field or equivalent experience • Thorough understanding of Waldorf education and prior involvement in a Waldorf school; training or experience with Waldorf education preferred The application deadline for this position is March 24, 2010. We require applicants to have Waldorf Early Childhood Teacher training and experience as a Waldorf kindergarten lead teacher. First Grade Teacher for the Fall of 2010 We are looking for a Waldorf-trained teacher to lead our next first grade class. It is shaping up to be a solid class with most of the children currently enrolled in our kindergarten program. River Valley Waldorf School is located in beautiful Bucks County , Pennsylvania on the hills overlooking the Delaware River . Founded in 1994, we are a candidate-pending member of AWSNA. Our property is situated in a serene, rural setting, yet we are conveniently just over an hour from both New York City and Philadelphia . Housed in a former public elementary school building, our programs include grades one through eight, kindergarten, nursery and Garden Gate (our parent-child program). We are proud to offer a strong professional development program for our faculty, extensive adult education opportunities including lectures, workshops, study groups and performances. River Valley Waldorf School is supported by a Leadership Team, Board of Trustees, professional staff, involved parent body and an internationally diverse faculty. We are committed to offering a full Waldorf curriculum, which currently includes: Spanish, German, handwork, sculptural arts (woodworking & clay) and music. After-school activities include soccer, instrumental music lessons and tumbling among others. We are looking for dynamic, Waldorf-trained teachers to join our dedicated faculty. We offer fully trained teachers a starting salary of $31,000 and $500 for each year of Waldorf teaching experience.
